A unique and museum-worthy piece: a Chinese Export porcelain plate, produced during the Qianlong reign (1736–1795). The floral decoration in cobalt blue on snow white is characteristic of the commissions made by European merchants for the great houses of the 18th century — transported on galleons to Lisbon, it is now an antique with 300 years of history.

These porcelains are increasingly rare and difficult to find in the antiques market in good condition. Each example is a testament to the maritime trade between Europe and imperial China, of which Portugal was a pioneer.

Very good condition. No chips, cracks or restorations. The vibrancy of the original cobalt blue is intact.
