An imposing display case in black lacquered wood, richly decorated with golden motifs of oriental inspiration, characteristic of the Chinoiserie style, widely appreciated in Europe between the 20th and 20th centuries.
The upper section, with its glazed front and double-arched finish, features two doors with wooden frames and an interior compartmentalized by shelves — ideal for displaying porcelain, books, or collectibles.
The base rests on four elegant cabriole legs, joined by a central decorative crossbar, featuring delicate details painted in gold.
This piece reflects the artistic dialogue between East and West, in a synthesis of exoticism and refinement that marked the European aesthetic of the time.
