Console with Marble Top and Louis XV Style Mirror

Second example of an elegant Louis XV style entrance set, consisting of a hand-carved console and mirror. The dark wood, probably walnut, features a richly decorative carving with shell (coquille) motifs, acanthus leaves, and trellis work, typical of 20th-century Portuguese and French Baroque furniture.
